I started playing tennis when I was eight years old. As a junior, I competed in tournaments and team matches, always looking for ways to improve my game and better understand my equipment.
Later, I became a tennis coach because I wanted to pass that knowledge on to new players. One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing someone improve and helping them enjoy the sport even more.
Over the years, I noticed that many players struggle with the same problem: choosing the right equipment. That's why I created GearMatch.
I picked up my first tennis racket and immediately fell in love with the sport.
I competed in regional tournaments and club matches, while constantly trying to improve my game and better understand my equipment.
I wanted to give something back to the sport that shaped me. Helping players improve and seeing their confidence grow became my biggest motivation.
After seeing countless players buy equipment that didn't suit their game, I decided to build GearMatch to make choosing tennis gear easier, smarter and more personal.
